Forensic Science is a new upcoming career option. The IIS (deemed to be University) has started B.Sc (H) in Forensic Science where students are prepared for a career in this field, both in India and abroad. The course will impart professional education that integrates with the latest techniques used in Forensic science.  10+2 passed students with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Biology/ mathematics /Statistics stream can pursue this course.  The department, under the able guidance of Prof. Pradeep Bhatnagar (Dean), has well qualified faculty members and is strengthened by well-equipped laboratories and trained technicians. After successful completion of course students can serve as Forensic Expert, Investigating Officer, Crime Scene Investigator, Forensic Scientist, Fingerprint Expert, Forensic Pathologist, Forensic Chemist, Forensic Engineer, Forensic Geologist, Forensic Photographer.
